Anna
Saeki, born in Hokkaido, Japan, made her debut
in 1989 as a tango singer after being crowned
Miss Sapporo. Soon after her talent as a singer
was acknowledged, she went to Argentina to record
her album. She received critical acclaim in TV,
radio and magazine. She was responsible for the
Latin Boom in Japan. She was also the vocalist
for the band “Orquesta del Sol”, and
in addition, she became involved in acting and
hosted various talent shows.
She is now actively doing concerts in Japan, the
U.S. & Europe and other major venues around
the world. She is now recognized as a top artist
in the Tango world.
