Anna Saeki, born in Hokkaido, Japan, made her debut in 1987 as a tango singer after crowned Miss Sapporo.
Soon after her talent as a singer was acknowledged, she went to Argentina to record her album, and exposed numerous media.
She received critical acclaim in TV, radio and magazine.
Her work in Japan includes MC, actress, as well as performing Tango tour with Argentina's leading band.
She was also the vocalist for the band “Orquesta del Sol". As a top Tango artists, she's currently been having concert tours in Japan, United States, Europe, as well as South America.
In 2005(10/26 issue), she was chosen as one of the “100 Japanese People Respected in the World” in “Newsweek Japan”.
In 2008, she was awarded for "20 people contributed to Tango" at La Falda Tango Festival.
She released the album of folklore of Argentina in 2009 after meeting Mercedes Sosa.
She was invited to the event of the 200th anniversary of founding of Argentina in 2010, and had a concert as the first Japanese artist at Salon Dorado in Casa De La Culutra sponsored by the City of Buenos Aires.
In recent years, she's spreading her world by challenging variety of new projects, such as having "Parent-Child Concert".
